How to verify that concert tickets are valid?

I purchased tickets to a concert on Ebay and I want to verify that they are valid. I tried the box office and they said the only way is to show up and scan the ticket. This has to BS. I can’t see companies as big as these not having a way of verifying tickets before the show. They are just miffed cause I bought them elsewhere- which by the way we had no choice due to presale and general public sale being sold out in minutes. Any ideas on how to check them? I don’t want to show up with my kid and be turned away.
