Ticket Broker Tip #38

Many baseball teams offer ‘Big Games Packs’, or some variation to ticket holders. If anyone is interested in looking into becoming a ticket broker for major league baseball, these packages provide a great opportunity to break in.

There are many labels the teams put on these packages. Do not only search in the phrase ‘Big Game Pack’. The idea behind it you receive tickets to the most popular games - Red Sox, Yankees, rivalry games, interleague and weekends. These are the games that have the most demand and the highest profits. Depending on the team’s policies in a given year, you could be set up with post-season tickets also. Every game is a quality event and can provide a handsome return.

Big Game Packs give you the potential to create a big return, because every game in the pack is a high quality ticket. The costs of the tickets are often below face value. A common practice of teams is to provide the package holder tickets at under face value. Since these are also offered directly from the team, you can expect much less service charges, if any, from the team. Single game tickets from ticketmaster will have service charges of several extra dollars per ticket.

Also since the ‘Big Games Pack’ is only a portion of the season, it provides a low cost way to break in. What is not to like about the combination? We only wish more teams would adopt this program.
