Ticketmaster - How do you get good seats?

I am constantly frustrated by the on-line ticketmaster application. It seems that every time you try and get in right away or respond to a presale, instead of the “best seats available” you get a random selection - usually mid lower level seating. Anyone know a way to get around this? How do the ticket brokers get such good seats?

Ticketmaster was on the ticket ends up costing 30 wtf.
