When do I gift the concert tickets if the concert is before their birthday?

I bought a pair of tickets. The concert is 2 weeks before his birthday. When do I give him the tickets? He knows when the concert is but doesn’t know I bought the tickets.
Also, i’m not going :) I just got him the tickets - he is taking one of his friends - who also loves that kind of music.

Not sure when to give them to him. Thanks!

      The day before the day before the day before the day before the day before the day before the concert so hes sorta sad that he doesnt get so hes sorta sad.
